Moving House
A new home for imagine that
It’s a scary thing to pack up your website and move it to a new host. I lay awake for nights before I made the final move – there were so many tutorials to read … migration, new security protocols, caching, optimizing, content delivery systems … technical things seemingly way over my head. But I faced those fears at last and did the deed, and I’m really happy.
I’ve been moved three days and have had three sessions with support already! All my errors, of course, mostly mis- or no-education. Technical support has been amazing – patient and kind. I feel like I might have the hang of things now … well, hopefully.
The portending move has been an obstacle to writing, to editing Iron/Velvet and getting those first 78 chapters back online, to making any new wallpapers or participating in CABB’s challenges. But now I’m out of procrastinations! I sure hope I don’t create any new ones. Wish me clear paths!
