Sharing the news from your WinterCandlemakers

(To paraphrase Father …)

In these difficult days, we can’t let the darkness engulf us. Our unity gives us strength to endure the uncertainty. Our shared light shows us a way forward.

Join in that light!

April 12th might be a few days away, but the candles on the balcony are already lit. We’ve opened a chat room (just like our Winterfest Online chat room) for us all to keep close with one another. It’s available now and will be for the next two months. Stop in any time to see who’s there, but do note we have designated some specific gathering hours and an episode watch every day.

Visit Catherine’s Balcony.

There you’ll find a link to the chat room …

And to submissions! It’s up to you, of course, but if you find you have extra time on your hands due to all the stay-at-home orders and you decide to spend some of that time creating things you’d like to share with our BatB family, please do so! Batb fanfic, poetry, art, videos, songs. Crafts of any sort … And recipes – we could use some inspiration. We want it all! We need it all!

We’ve posted a submissions entry form for you to fill out once you’ve put your creation online and copied its URL. It’s just like the one we use for WFOL. Remember, if you’re looking for a place online for your stories or photographs, Google Drive is easy to use and free. The fan submissions will be available immediately – just as soon as someone posts something! And you can share your work any time over the next two months!

Meet us on Catherine’s Balcony. It’s a magical place, large enough and strong enough to shelter us all.

Where it’s warm, no matter the weather, and it’s safe. Where we will take care of each other.
